WE'RE BACK!!!!!

Apologies, apologies, apologies!

I feel that I've abandoned the blog and was alarmed when I saw that the last post was 11th December!!  So what have we been up to since then!

On the 18th December, we had the school Christmas Fair and the children organised a table to sell our daffodils.  As usual I lurked in the background and let the children run the show. We didn't sell many, but we put them back up into the polytunnel.  Today, we checked the garden and to our delight, they are flowering!  The three children who came up with me, took one each for their teachers and Rebecca took one for Mrs Bailey for her office, which was rather sweet.

So we tidied up the garden and polytunnel for the Christmas holiday.  On my return, I was asked to do another role during January - there's not a lot to do and it was very cold for the children anyway.  Then we've had quite a bit of snow which scuppered any chances for a quick garden session.  The children have still badgered me to take them up! So the garden hasn't had many visitors these last few weeks, but hopefully that will all change very soon.

Yesterday, I had a lovely surprise.  The Morrisons Vouchers order was delivered to the school -  I wasn't expecting it til April!  So it was like Christmas again. So I got three children together and we checked the order and fixed the wheels on to the wheelbarrow, before taking it up to the garden.  Its quite exciting and it was nice to explore the garden and see what's budding and growing.  Can't wait to get started again up there!
